My natural science...blah blah something class, basically the ecology of Hawaii is on a two week trip in Hawaii. There's a six hour time difference so it's been fun trying to get adjusted to the time. My nights of full sleep haven't yet happened.
We have gone to a few waterfalls and today we visited the Tropical Botanical Gardens. Later in just a few hours at 11 p.m. will are heading to a volcano to see lava flow. Earlier today a few of us walked next door to a small corner store and got shaved ice. I got pineapple in mine. It was very refreshing.
It's been great so far. I've became friends with some awesome people and we're all so open with each other it seems like we've all been friends forever. We've spent our evenings playing games and chatting.
We are staying in a rental house with a few rooms. There are 12 of us so we are sharing a full bathroom and a half. It's interesting sometimes to see who gets to shower first and the way it all happens. I'm looking forward to the next 12 days with all these people. So far it's been amazing and I'm having a great time.
